This version of Voodoo Chile  was caught live at a hot afternoon bank gig outdoors.  We took the gig as bands do for a "paid rehearsal"  But John Mark couldn't take the ball- jacks er, gentlemen  in suits any more, and suprised us all (not really) by breaking into this...."Play time is over Ladies and Gentlement....)  Well, can't say he didn't warn em!  You can hear me laughing on the whole cut--the suits were begging me:  "you gotta make him turn down!"  THIS WAS LOUD SO TURN IT UP! Sometimes, it's all worth it...

"Same Thing" is the first song of the first real Cherry gig.  At 1048, we had never all played together (that I can recall) at least not as the Cherries.  Most of us had never played this song (or heard this song) and it was just too cool the way it came together.  Listen as we call out the key...different keys!  But boy, does iit come together.  We knew we had something special then.
